Carol L. StokesCarol, a co-founder of the Soul Sisters Society, is on a mission. In a society that often pressures women to sacrifice their lives for others, Carol challenges this narrative, advocating that every woman is worthy of a life that lights her up.
With a background in law spanning over 30 years, Carol's life took a turn when she decided to shift her focus to help women take control of their lives and reclaim their power. Growing up, Carol learned firsthand the impact of saying "yes" to oneself, drawing strength and inspiration from the remarkable women in her life, particularly her mother and grandmother, who defied the odds after her parents' divorce. Witnessing their journey, Carol was determined to help women pursue a fulfilling life, regardless of their circumstances. Carol's dedication to this mission deepened through personal experiences, particularly when she found herself in the role of caregiver, holding power of attorney for an older relative with mental health disabilities. The challenges she faced navigating the "system" and legal challenges reinforced her commitment to helping others overcome obstacles. Her journey and insights were shared in a poignant piece published in Daily Word Magazine in May 2023, resonating with countless women facing similar situations with their adult children. This experience expanded Carol's awareness of the profound need for women to set healthy boundaries and prioritize themselves. Carol is a certified life coach, lawyer, and author. |
Renee Schur
Renee, a co-founder of the Soul Sisters Society, is a purpose-driven coach dedicated to guiding fearless risk-takers. She holds international accreditation as a Kundalini Yoga Teacher and Kundalini Yoga Teacher Trainer, along with expertise as an Ayurvedic Consultant.
With over 28 years of experience, Renee and her husband successfully initiated, managed, and contributed to three thriving restaurants. As a seasoned entrepreneur, she has skillfully navigated the challenging journey from audacious ideas to triumphant realities, utilizing Kundalini yoga to maintain serenity amidst chaos. Renee's mission is to empower individuals with bold aspirations, providing the tools to silence skeptics and construct the businesses of their dreams. Her coaching and training services provide individuals with resources, solutions and techniques that contribute to having successful businesses they did not think possible for them. Renee is, particularly, gifted in turning new or struggling businesses into successful businesses. As a result, Renee's coaching and training services are in high demand. Certified as a Professional Trainer by the Kundalini Research Institute (KRI) and a Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT500), Renee brings a wealth of knowledge and practical experience to her transformative coaching sessions. |
